California Coastal Cleanup Day

Every year, on the third Saturday in September, people join together at sites all over California to take part in the State's largest volunteer event, California Coastal Cleanup Day. Last year, San Mateo County had over 4,200 volunteers collect over 19,000 pounds of trash and recycleables. This year MSI plans to converge onto Gray Whale Cove in Half Moon Bay and continue the tradition of showing appreciation to our fabulous coast and waterways.
