Living Fully: Reimagining End-of-Life - SOLD OUT
While an undergraduate at Princeton, BJ Miller was electrocuted and nearly died. Since then, he has built his life work around the care of others who are approaching death. Dr. Miller is a leader in bridging the spiritual and humanitarian approaches to end-of-life care. Trained at UCSF and Harvard, Dr. Miller's efforts are focused on building an integrative education model devoted to interrelating spirituality with the health of mind and body.
Despite being a universal experience, death usually is a topic looked at only when unavoidable. Through his work as executive director of Zen Hospice Project and faculty at UCSF, Dr. BJ Miller is changing the conversation around the end-of-life experience. A leader in the movement dedicated to a human-centered model of care, Miller advocates quality of life all the way to the end.
