Fall Tarantula Hikes with Lindsay Wildlife at Mt Diablo

Explore the habitat of local tarantulas along the north face of Mount Diablo with an experienced naturalist. Fall is the time for these eight-legged, carnivorous yet docile creatures to come out of hiding in search of mates. The hike covers a distance of 2 miles, hiking shoes and bottled water are highly recomomended. Additional cost: $6 for parking at the visitor's center.
