Water and Health in China and Beyond
Water quality is a powerful determinant of health, and the prevention of water quality related diseases presents a critical global health challenge. This conference will bring together scholars and practitioners from the University of California, Berkeley and the Chinese Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CCDC), to discuss the latest research and developments related to water treatment, water management, disease prevention, and public health. Funding for the conference was generously provided by the College of Natural Resources, the Berkeley School of Public Health, the Institute of East Asia Studies, and the Center for Chinese Studies- with co-sponsorship by the Fudan-UC Center on Contemporary China.
