Update on Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic neurologic disease that affects the central nervous system. More than 400,000 people in the United States are affected by multiple sclerosis with 200 new diagnoses each week. Its cause is unknown, although it is speculated that environment, genetics, and immune-mediated processes play a role in developing MS. This talk will address the current state of treatments for MS.
