BASF - Plate Tectonics with Tanya Atwater

Come and enjoy a unique evening with Tanya Atwater, one of the pioneering scientists whose explorations and analysis in the 1960s and 70s led to the plate tectonics revolution in earth science. Plate tectonics is a new and beautiful way of understanding our earth which is often hard for us to visualize in all its grandeur. Tanya will be here to share some of her experiences of discovery AND to help us use our hands and minds to build models that bring our earth system of moving continents to life. Especially recommended for those of us who love sharing our passion for our home planet with family, friends, and students!
