Open Access Week 2015 – Let's Collaborate! Boost your Citations and Visibility

Calling all Bay Area researchers: How will you increase the visibility of and citations to your work? Not alone, is the answer! Open Access Week is coming-with a 2015 focus on collaboration-and you are invited to come discuss ways to give your research a boost by working together and sharing what you do. We have a number of terrific speakers lined up who will share insights and information about the tools for and practical advantages of open science. During your time with us, in addition to tasty snacks and drinks, we'll have a series of lightning talks, followed by a lively "Ask Us Anything" session with everyone in attendance. So, come with your curiosity and your questions and join the conversation!

Topics will include: "Making yourself visible online: how to promote your research", "Realtime open science on Thinklab & the horrors of data copyright",  "The relationship between collaboration and citation", "Open and Collaborative peer review for scholarly communication and scientific progress", and more!
