Ring Mountain Geology and Natural History Hike

Join the Contra Costa Hills Club on a hike to explore the geology and natural history of Ring Mountain in Corte Madera. We hope to find the rare Tiburon Mariposa Lily. 

Details: 9:15AM East Bay cars leave El Cerrito Del Norte BART east parking lot, WHERE CARS ARE NEEDED for pickup. Drive to Ring Mountain trailhead. Loop hike using several different trails, hiking ~4.5mi., 850' elev. gain. No water on trail; restroom at San Clemente Park.

ALL HIKERS, RIDERS, & DRIVERS MUST CALL Bill by Friday May 20th at 9PM. Rain cancels. LEADERS: Bill Motzer (925-247-0811), John Christian and Mark Petrofsky

It is suggested that riders pay drivers 15 cents/mile + share of bridge toll.
