Pint of Science Festival - Palo Alto

Ever wanted to learn science without the difficult jargon? How about talking to a scientist over a beer? Because we could all agree that learning science is more fun with a cold pint in your hand.

"The world has gone viral!" by Prof. Angelle Desiree LaBeaud, Stanford University

"Staphylococcus aureus: Making a Living (And Sometimes a Killing) in the Skin" by Lauren Popov, Stanford University

And as is that weren't enough, we will be bringing you fun and interactive exhibits. Anja Scholze from San Jose Tech Museum will present "mushrooms bricks" for you to play tetris with and multi-colored bacteria. TechShop San Jose will have a 3-D printer and Lauren Popov will bring test kits for everyone to see if you have Staphylococcus bacteria on your skin!
