The Natural Wonders of Mount Diablo's Mitchell Canyon

Mt. Diablo's Mitchell Canyon is one of the great nature walks in the Bay Area. Butterflies patrol the creek, delicate flowers such as Elegant Clarkia adorn the trailsides, and reptiles scamper about. We'll hike up the easy canyon trail, have some lunch and return, observing and learning about the plants and animals of this special place.
