March 2016 Solar Eclipse Extravaganza

Our next club presentation will feature three PAS members sharing their experiences from traveling to view the recent solar eclipse in March 2016.  Jacques Guertin (leading a "Ring of Fire Expeditions " group organized by Paul Maley) along with Don Gardner were on the Indonesian island of Ternate and had some clouds but very good views of the Total Solar Eclipse of March 9th, 2016.  Rob Hawley was with a TravelQuest group was on board the cruise ship Le Soléal in the Molucca Sea near Sulawesi and had excellent skies.
