'Middle Eastern and Asian perceptions of the night sky' plus Free Stargazing
Join us to celebrate diversity of our community with Astronomy. This summer we will blend religion and performing arts of the Middle Eastern and the Asian cultures by exploring ancient sky along cultural views. Members of our community will present prayers, chant, songs, music, poetry, and dances, having astronomical objects in the background; the Astronomical information will be provided related to those objects.
Social Hour: 815 pm – 8:45 pm, VPA Theater, EVC
Enjoy free multicultural food after the talk. Our sponsor Rajjot Indian Cuisine and Caspian Village Restaurant will provide multicultural food.

Free Public Stargazing Night at the Montgomery Hill Observatory:
Enjoy a free public stargazing session at the Montgomery Hill Observatory of Evergreen Valley College from 8:45 pm to 10 pm. The Planets Mars and Saturn and many more objects will be visible.
Free Astronomy activities and glow in the dark sticks for the kids.
Free parking in the parking lot #6 for this event.
