Rising Moon & Setting Sun Hike

Join ACR Resource Ecologist Dave Self for a hike up Redhill to watch the full moon rising over the Mayacamas at about 7:45pm, followed by sunset at about 8:00pm. After we watch a few stars, we'll wander down, appreciating the quiet and the light of the full moon.

Meet ACR Resource Ecologist Dave Self at 7:00pm at 10,000 Pine Flat Road, about 25 minutes up Pine Flat Rd from Hwy 128 at Jimtown.

Bring drinking water, flashlight and a chair. Also bring extra layers or a good coat, as it can get chilly at night.
