Tales from the Trees

Within families one can find several diverse traditions and customs. We all have ancestors and elders that experienced different upbringings and life events that led them to pass down certain traditions, beliefs, and values.
The redwood forest can have several life lessons to teach us if we learn how to listen. These ancient giants can live to be over 2,000 years old. They have been around long before we were born. If these trees could talk, what lessons could we learn from them? What would they want us to know?
Redwood trees and Ranger Jasmine talk on a daily basis and have developed a good rapport. Jasmine is finally ready to translate all the stories she has learned from them! Could you and your kids* learn anything from these giants? Join Ranger Jasmine as she guides you and your family through Muir Woods! During this 1.5 hour family themed program we will learn about and explore the forest together. This walk is about one mile on a flat surface and is stroller and wheelchair friendly.
