Spatial Data Science and the 21st Century Mapping Toolkit

The past decade has been one of astonishing innovation in the world of spatial data, analysis and visualization. I’m going to talk about all the amazing and fun technology that you can work with. My group focuses on mapping for a California, and we use blends of very modern tools with historical and contemporary data to help answer applied ecological questions. Basically this is a look at all my favorite things in the mapping arena, some of my most recent work, and where you can get more information.
