The Crucible's Fireside Lounge

Join us for a FREE evening of art, industry, community, and entertainment. All ages are welcome! The Crucible’s Fireside Lounge illuminates the world of original artists, collectives, and innovators who create movements “Made in Oakland. The Crucible’s Fireside Lounge lets you see demonstrations of our industrial and fine arts for yourself.  Watch live performances of fire eating, poi, and fire staff, as well as interactive fire effects. Learning about the science behind the art of enameling and glass. We will also be displaying a FLUX Foundation sculpture that evening. Flux Foundation aims to engage people in designing and building large-scale public art as a catalyst for education, collaboration, and empowerment.
