Walk to honor Sylvia McLaughlin at a King Tide
See a newly re-contoured portion of Eastshore State Park, talk about a future of rising sea levels during a King Tide, and honor Save the Bay founder Sylvia McLaughlin on her centenary on this special walk. Berkeley Path Wanderers, Citizens for Eastshore Parks, and Friends of Five Creeks are sponsors.  Easy, mostly level walk of about 2.5 miles, with some uneven or muddy stretches. Bring a camera to photograph high sea level and/or binocs to enjoy wintering birds. Sorry, no dogs!
Wear sturdy shoes and dress for sun, rain, fog, wind -- or all of them. Meet at Sea Breeze Market, south side of University Avenue
