Got Rhythm? An Update on the Treatment of Cardiac Arrhythmias
The heart normally has a steady beat. When the beat becomes irregular, takes off on its own, or misses a beat, a cardiac arrhythmia is present. While cardiac arrhythmias are usually benign, they can also be related to an increased risk of stroke and may be life-threatening. In this talk, Dr. Paul Wang, Director of the Stanford Cardiac Arrhythmia Service and Professor of Medicine and Bioengineering (by courtesy), will talk about cardiac arrhythmias and new treatments.
