How and Why We Control Invasives in the Park - Talk and Field Workshop!

Join Chrissy Sullivan (Natural Resource Specialist, Tennessee Valley) for this informative and interesting class on something we should all be aware of: the threats posed to the parks by invasive plants. Learn results of research within the park showing negative effects to habitat value when non-native invasive plants are introduced; as well as, how we prioritize and control the most detrimental species and results of that work. Class will start with a presentation, followed by working on a project in the field.
