Let HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) of San Mateo help you make informed decisions about your federal health insurance coverage.

A HICAP state-registered counselor-community educator will help recipients navigate the “Medicare Maze” by explaining the different parts of Medicare (A, B, C & D), costs and benefits, enrollment periods, and coordination of benefits. HICAP is a private nonprofit funded by the state and federal governments to provide free and unbiased information on Medicare. Registration strongly encouraged.
