Green Friday

May's Green Friday presentation will be by Susan JuneFish, founder and director of the Parents for a Safer Environment (PASE). Exposures to toxic chemicals such as pesticides risk unnecessary harm to our health, wildlife and water supplies. PASE works to conduct research, outreach/education to the community and decision makers as well as advocate for policy change primarily in Contra Costa County. The work by PACE to effect systemic change has made impacts at the State of California level and beyond, preventing illnesses and fostering health to generations of people and protecting the environment. Susan has a master's degree in public health from UC Berkeley and has worked for Cal/EPA.
