Ant Lions, Tiger Beetles & Native Bees - Oh my! Insect Bioblitz

Come along on an adventure to find and document butterflies, bees and other insect of the Preserves, using bug nets and iNaturalist. Our guides are insect enthusiasts, Richard Wasson (Bouverie Docent and great insect photographer), Elliott Smeds (former Bouverie Juniper, now studying insects at SSU), and David Self (ACR's Ecologist for the Preserve and wildflower enthusiast). It'll be fun and informative. Before the event, be sure to download the iNaturalist app to your smart phone, start an account, and try adding a species observation. iNaturalist is a gateway to great Natural History information and you can get ID help from experts too. We'll also coach any newbies.
