Birds, bikes, and beer!

Do you like birds? And biking? And beer? If you’re anything like CCNH naturalists, you love all those things! Join us for a leisurely bike ride along the shore of the Oakland Estuary, led by two bird enthusiasts.

We’ll meet at 10 am at Fruitvale BART. Look for us in the CCNH t-shirts just outside the BART turnstiles.  We'll make our way to Arrowhead Marsh, stopping to look for birds along the way. We'll end at Doolittle Drive around 1 pm. Those who are interested can join the naturalists and bike over to Drake’s Brewery in San Leandro. 

This will be an easy 8-mile ride on paved surfaces. Birders of all levels are welcome! Dress in layers and bring your own bicycle and helmet. We have binoculars for you to borrow.
