Bay Day

Don't be fooled by the bridges, levees, and city skylines - the Bay is wild and alive. In fact, it's the largest and most ecologically important estuary on the west coast. When we take one day each year to celebrate this amazing natural resource, the movement to preserve and protect it for future generations grows stronger. Bay Day is like Earth Day - for San Francisco Bay.  It is one official day every year for the entire Bay Area to come together and celebrate the Bay. Save the Bay has declared Oct. 7, 2017 as Bay Day. In preparation for celebrations around the Bay - partners of the Bay Model (F.L.O.W. - For the Love of Water & (Wildlife) will be hosting various activities to bring a deeper love and an appreciation of this precious natural resource.
