Field Botany Frieday

Join us to explore the Modini Mayacamas Preserves each season in search of botanical beauty and interest. We’ll learn some plant ecology and ethnobotany from ACR Education Specialist Dave Self and others in the group. Depending on the season, we’ll look for late flowers and seeds; nuts and fall colors, winter ferns and trees; or spring wildflowers. We’ll also seek to add records to our Biodiversity of the Modini Mayacamas project on iNaturalist, so join iNaturalist and bring your cameras. You can also download our plant list here: MMP Plant List
