Modern Loss: Candid Conversation About Grief

Modern Loss co-founders Rebecca Soffer and Gabrielle Birkner will discuss how the isolation they experienced after losing parents as young adults inspired them to take a no-holds-barred approach to grief. Their efforts have taken the form of a website and community that The New York Times described as a way of "redefining mourning.” Soffer and Birkner now have a new book, Modern Loss: Candid Conversation About Grief.
