A Passion for Fish: Science and Art Come Together

Christopher M. Dewees presents “A Passion for Fish: Science and Art Come Together” and discusses his book, A Life Among Fishes: The Art of Gyotaku, sharing a half-century of printing fish and shellfish to full color. We will follow Chris’s evolution in gyotaku as a graduate student, to his status now as an internationally recognized master in the field. The event will include Chris demonstrating the actual process and technique of creating gyotaku prints.
