“Going Solar” Workshop by a Nonprofit for Interested Homeowners

If you’re thinking about going solar, please join us for this free 1.25-hour workshop.  It’ll help you understand the basics of solar photovoltaics (PV), the technology options, the economics, how you tie into the utility grid, purchasing tips, etc.

If you live in the City of Santa Clara, please note that the city’s current solar rebate can provide thousands of dollars off for a solar system, but it will come to an end on June 30.  To obtain this rebate, it’s important to act soon.

The workshop is offered by SunWork (SunWork.org), a small 501(c)(3) NONPROFIT that installs rooftop solar for low-electricity-using homes and for nonprofits (such as churches and homeless shelters). SunWork's volunteer model makes solar energy much more affordable to these markets where the economics are generally not as favorable.
