Air
Air: With John Collins
Â
Learn how to make your own Tumbling Wing paper airplane with John Collins. This uniquely folded paper plane can stay adrift indefinitely when you scoop up air beneath it with a piece of cardboard. All ages welcome.
Known as “The Paper Airplane Guy,â€Â John Collins has been invited to fly planes on four continents and for some of the biggest companies in the world. He holds the world record for paper airplane distance and is passionate about helping people make better airplanes.
Check out INFLATABLE: EXPANDING WORKS OF ART while you are there. Later in the evening they are even better as the daylight dims!
NOTE: Starting Fri July 6 the explOratorium is open until 9:00 PM. It's a great way for families to spend an evening in the museum. Sunset is great and the programing is great for families to share. This goes until Aug 31.
