Science Sunday: People in a Changing Sea: Achieving Resilient Coastal Fisheries in an Era of Global Change

Marine fisheries employ hundreds of millions of people around the world, and in developing countries alone, more than one billion people depend on fish for their primary source of protein. As oceans and coasts are increasingly confronted by uncertainties from overfishing, climate change, and global markets, coastal communities must learn to anticipate, adapt, and respond to these changes for their long-term well being.

Join us as Elena Finkbeiner discusses working with local fishing communities and shares their efforts towards resilience in a changing world.
