The creatures come out at NightLife as the Academy transforms into a spine-tingling and outrageous night of supernatural science.

This year, The Boulet Brothers take over our annual Halloween drag show and costume contest with their signature sinister twist. These drag queens are the creators and hosts of Dragula, the cult reality show competition to find the world’s next “drag supermonster.” Come in costume - and step up the scary - for a chance to catch the eye of Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet.

Step right up to the “dark carnival” full of scientific curiosities from our very own research collections. Venture into the dark corners of an artist’s imagination with VR games and experiences presented by Urban Safari and play some of the Pacific Pinball Museum’s most horrifying machines. Curious spirits can learn about spiders, scorpions, Bobbitt worms, and other creepy creatures with Academy scientists while enjoying Halloween-themed spirits and cocktails of their own.

In the planetarium, embark on a “Haunted Tour of the Night Sky” and learn about the mysteries of the “Dark Universe.”
