Possible Self STEM Expo

STEM can take you to your Possible Self! During this day long, conference style event, middle school aged students will take part in multiple Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) oriented sessions to get exposure to STEM concepts from ecology to physics! Students will sign up for activities at the beginning of the day during registration. Also during the event we will be working to connect presenting mentoring programs in the Bay Area with the students who attend the expo. This will allow students to follow up with their STEM experiences at the expo, throughout the year. This opportunity is open to all and students from underrepresented backgrounds in STEM are especially encouraged to attend!

Durante este día, evento de estilo de conferencia, los estudiantes de la escuela intermedia tomarán parte en sesiones orientadas a Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas (STEM) para exponerse a los conceptos de STEM de la ecología a la física. Los estudiantes se registrarán para actividades al comienzo del día durante la inscripción. También durante el evento, trabajaremos para conectar los programas de mentoring actuales en el Área de la Bahía con los estudiantes que asisten a la exposición. Esto permitirá a los estudiantes hacer un seguimiento de sus experiencias de STEM en la exposición, durante todo el año. ¡Esta oportunidad está abierta para todos y se anima especialmente a los estudiantes de antecedentes con poca representación en STEM a asistir!
