The American Bison became the officially national mammal of the United States in 2016. Join us on November 3rd in celebrating this amazing national mammal! There will be exciting opportunities to learn more about this majestic species at interactive tables in flamingo plaza. Learn more about the relationship between bison and the land as you enjoy the views of the Bay Area from the top of our new bison exhibit. Show your support for bison at our Bison selfie station or through face painting. Learn about the significance of bison through storytelling and other active events.
