Why are Ashkenazi Jews more likely to inherit certain genetic conditions?

Featuring guest speaker: Gary Frohlich, MS, CGC of Sanofi Genzyme will discuss the "Founder Effect," genetic conditions among Ashkenazi Jews, and the signs and symptoms of Gaucher Disease. Gaucher is one of the most common of Ashkenazi diseases, affecting 1 in 850, with 1 in 15 a carrier.
