Training Session: Alameda County MycoFlora Project

This is a training session for an ongoing project.

Citizen scientists are needed to gather mushrooms for the North American MycoFlora Project.

As a local sub-project, MycoFlora of Alameda County Project will collect and document mushrooms to store for future study.  Training to locate, photograph, post to iNaturalist, number, dry and process our collections are provided to all volunteers.  Samples will be stored in local herbaria collections.  All participants completing training will be given procedure packets and will be invited to attend mushroom hunting hikes in Alameda County collecting for the project.
