More Than Rocket Science: STEM Education and Foundational Barriers

It is no secret that STEM education is a key component of both academic and professional success. While many schools have implemented new programming to address the need for a shift in focus, schools in lower socio-economic areas often struggle with funding to address the foundational skills needed to grow a child's interest and knowledge in STEM. This halts a child's development, hinders intellectual growth and their love of learning.
