Permaculture Design: Regenerate your Landscape

Care for the earth, care for the people, and return the surplus! Permaculture works with nature instead of against it - saving energy, minimizing waste, and lowering environmental impact. Local permaculture expert Nicholas Hardy will discuss how to holistically restore and regenerate the degraded ecology of our local landscapes and watersheds and will talk about soil, vegetation and water harvesting strategies. You’ll have a better understanding of a diversified and balanced garden design and management practices to apply to your own garden! 

This event is part of the San Mateo Public Library and City of San Mateo Earth Day series. All events are free but registration is required so that we can plan accordingly.
