SF Design Week: Open House @ swissnex
How will the world collaborate and create in the future? Join us at our third annual SF Design Week Studio Crawl open house highlighting our role in building relationships between design, research, and workspaces.
Anchored within swissnex San Francisco at Pier 17, the Living Lab is a testing ground to explore the future of work and collaboration. Our open space hosts a diverse resident community of universities, startups, corporate innovation outposts, artists, designers, a gallery, and two event spaces. Under one roof, we bring together products, technology, and research partners that each contribute toward building an innovative space and community that experiments and learns together. For San Francisco Design Week, our open studio offers a behind-the-scenes look into how and why we do this.
The evening includes showcases from a selection of Living Lab partners. Admission includes entry to the How to Build a House: Digital Fabrication in Architecture exhibition; as well as Infomesh, our interactive exhibition highlighting the history of the World Wide Web through visualizations from the Swiss arts & design school, ECAL. The event will also mark the opening of a special exhibition in our ViewLab created in collaboration with Future of Work students from the California College of Art (CCA).
