E360: California's Energy Transition
This quarter Stanford Energy Club is continuing E360, our quarterly panel discussion series featuring energy experts in academia, industry, policy, and finance to talk about solutions to the energy challenge. This quarter’s E360 topic is California's Energy Transition: Energy Policy's Role in Achieving 100% Decarbonization, a discussion on current developments in and the future trajectory of energy policy in California in it's goal to reach 100% renewable electricity generation by 2050. This panel aims to explore the current state of energy policy in California and how policymakers, researchers, and the public can contribute towards decarbonizing California's electric grid. We invite all students, faculty, and staff to attend!
This panel will feature several experts in energy policy, including Stephen Comello, director of Stanford Graduate Business School's Business Energy Innovations, Aimee Bailey, Aimee Bailey, Director of Decarbonization and Grid Innovation at Silicon Valley Clean Energy, and Ted Ko, Policy Director at Stem, Inc.
