From Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Scott Hamilton Kennedy and executive producer Neil de Grasse Tyson, "Shot in the Arm" explores vaccine hesitancy throughout history, spanning distrust of smallpox inoculation to the latest mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines.  Learn how we can replace suspicion with understanding and bridge the political divides that leave us vulnerable and make us sick.

Following the film, a panel of experts, including Dr. Andrea Love, an immunologist and microbiologist, will discuss various aspects of vaccine development, administration, policy, and patient advocacy.
