Exciting Results with NASA's James Webb Space Telescope

Dr. Alex Filippenko (Distinguished Professor of Astronomy, UC Berkeley) will give a public lecture and Q&A sponsored by Orinda ONE.

There are three purposes:

1. Orinda ONE supports Orinda's public schools, and this will be the first lecture in their newly established Community Speaker Series to help spread the word about Orinda ONE.
2. We are trying to help publicize the Orinda Theater - a fine place at which Alex's son Orion works part-time, but which nearly died during the Covid-19 pandemic and has been struggling ever since.
3. Many people have asked Alex to give a lecture on this topic locally (he has given it with much success in other cities/universities). So here's the opportunity!
