Expert Talk: Living with Lions in Marin

The Sausalito Women’s Club will host Dr. Quinton Martins for a fascinating update on local mountain lions. Since 2016, Dr. Martins has studied the movement of mountain lions fitted with GPS collars in the North Bay to better understand mountain lion ecology, connectivity and challenges these enigmatic animals face in this fragmented landscape. He collared a Marin lion tagged P60, the largest he’s ever seen here in California, described “really beautiful” and a fascinating thing about him - he swims across our lakes!

Dr. Martins, is the Principal Investigator of the Living with Lions Project
