Stanford Continuing Studies presents Stanford Saturday University (SSU) on Saturday, November 5, 2011. This one-day event on Stanford campus offers visitors the opportunity to hear from some of Stanford's most interesting and articulate faculty members on a range of scientific topics.

- Synthetic Biology: Can We Reprogram the Living World? with Christina Smolke, Assistant Professor of Bioengineering
- Why Is It So Hard to Make Good Decisions? with Ronald Howard, Professor of Management Science and Engineering, Graduate School of Business
