Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail

Cheryl Strayed's writing has appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies including The New York Times Magazine, Vogue and The Best New American Voices. Her debut novel, Torch, was a finalist for the Great Lakes Book Award and selected by The Oregonian as one of the top ten books of 2006 by writers from the Pacific Northwest. Her best-selling book Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail was the first selection for Oprah's Book Club 2.0. It details Strayed's decision to backpack alone for 1,100 miles from California to Oregon following the loss of her mother and the dissolution of her marriage.
