Microwave Sensor Technology for Advancement of Nanoscale Measurement

For the past two decades, Nanotechnology has become one of the frequently used buzzwords that superficially connected science to the popular culture, promising advancements that can change our lives. However, the sluggish progress in delivering such promises is partly due to the challenges presented in Nanoscale measurements. This presentation proposes a new high-frequency Nanoscale measurement & imaging instrumentation, using microwave sensor technique to accelerate the advancement of bio, Nano & chemical sciences. I believe the development of a high frequency measurement & imaging instrument has the potential of accelerating the advancement of the Nanoscale devices for a variety of uses ranging from medical technologies to personal computation. This is especially true for the rapidly growing fields of life science, chemical, & biological analysis, which can benefit from high speed & high sensitivity sensors to accelerate the discovery & approval of medicine.
