Cartooning 101 with 'Sherman's Lagoon' creator Jim Toomey

Sherman is one sharp shark, and you can you learn how to create great looking cartoon characters like him from Sherman's Lagoon creator Jim Toomey while he is at Aquarium of the Bay celebrating the grand opening of the new Sherman's Lagoon: Finning Isn't Funny exhibit. A strong supporter of shark conservation, Toomey's series of Sherman's Lagoon cartoons on the serious issue of shark finning will be on display at Aquarium of the Bay all summer long. While there's plenty of time to see the exhibit, there's just one chance for a few lucky people to participate in the two very special cartooning classes that Toomey is teaching on June 26^th.

Following the classes, Toomey will meet fans and sign copies of his books.  His latest, Confessions of a Swinging Single Sea Turtle, will be available for purchase in the Aquarium's retail stores.
