California Coastal Cleanup Day

Every year, on the third Saturday in September, people join together at sites all over California to take part in the State's largest volunteer event, California Coastal Cleanup Day. This year Marine Science Institute is kicking off Coast Weeks at Pescadero State Beach! Join us and thousands of volunteers as we participate in removing trash from our beautiful coast.

MSI will provide gloves and bags for collecting waste an recycling; HOWEVER, a theme the state encourages, in an effort to lessen the environmental footprint of the day, is to bring your own clean-up supplies (pails, light gardening gloves, etc.).

We welcome your entire family to participate. More information will be sent out to registrants prior to the event.
