Good for You, Good for the Planet
What we eat impacts both our health and the health of the planet.
When we think about climate change we think about our transportation systems and our power plants. However, our food choices and our agricultural systems produce 49 - 87% of human caused greenhouse gases (per studies).
Most of the chronic diseases we face in the US are linked to what we eat. "Most deaths in the U.S. are preventable and they are related to what we eat,†Dean Ornish DM (per studies).
What we put on our fork impacts both our health and the health of the planet.
Please come join us to hear Joyce M Eden speak in more detail on this topic.
