What's Biodiversity and How Can We Conserve It? - Livestream
Recent advances in understanding and measuring biodiversity have important implications for science and conservation. Biodiversity has previously been defined as the number of species in an area. But we now know that biodiversity is not only about species -- biodiversity is the giant genealogical tree of life that connects all living organisms, including humans. All lineages of the tree matter, not just species, and not just humans.
