NightLife on the Rocks

NightLife's August Summer Concert series continues with a Rock Make Street Festival pre-party, brought to you by the Bay Bridged.   Magic Bullets will play headlining set in the Academy East Gardens from 8:15 pm to 9:15 pm.  Rock Make artist Still Flyin' will open the night of live music from 7:15 pm to 8:00 pm. The Rock Make Street Festival is the work of three groups sharing a like-minded commitment to supporting the development and promotion of San Francisco Bay Area independent arts and music.  It will be held in San Francisco's Mission District on Sunday, August 22nd 2010. Inside the Museum, some of the best mixologists in the bay area compete to see who can mix the best drink from a list of secret ingredients, which will be revealed to them at the last minute. Mixology is the science of creating cocktails, which historically led to bars featuring signature drinks to attract customers. These bartenders have developed a flair for extreme tricks combined with superior alcoholic alchemy in the quest for the perfect drink.
